A Day Trip to Imire Safari Ranch is a wonderful break, filled with awesome experiences. You’ll learn much about the history of Imire, current projects, the animals who live here and the work we do to help protect them.
You can look forward to a great day ahead with us! We’ll give you a warm welcome tea, followed by a game drive through the park. Meet Nzou, the matriarch elephant of the buffalo herd and Tatenda, the baby black rhino – just two highlights of a wonderful day.

Game Drive
See black rhino, hyena, elephant, lion, giraffe and a number of plains game.

Enjoy a refreshing lunch at the dam - and you may even see the elephants swim!

Game drive continues - elephant, buffalo, crocodile, sable, wildebeest and more plains game.

A Warm Welcome to Sable Lodge Sable Lodge at Imire Safari Ranch is a cool, green retreat just an hour and a half or so from Harare. Stay in comfortable individual lodges, enjoy fine home cooking, take a refreshing dip in the swimming pool and relax in our beautiful garden, all in close proximity to the amazing African bush. 24 hours at Imire Safari Ranch is a great experience, filled with awesome encounters. You’ll learn about the history of Imire, current projects, the animals that live here and the work we do to help protect them. Enjoy a welcome tea, followed by a game drive through the park. Meet Nzou, the matriarch elephant of the buffalo herd and Tatenda, the baby black rhino. Take a Sundowners Tour and sit down to some evening’s entertainment with dinner. Take the opportunity to ride the elephants early in the morning – which is the most wonderful experience, getting up close to these magnificent animals in the fresh morning air!
